Privacy Policy: How Froissage.com Handles Your Data

This policy explains what information Froissage.com collects and how it is used. We try to collect as little as possible.

Reading the site

Froissage.com is a static website. We do not run advertising and we do not load advertising or social media tracking pixels.

To understand which pages are useful, the site loads a small script from the shared site-administration service we use (hosted at uskpo.com) that records basic page-view information such as the page visited, the referring page and the time of the visit. We use this only to see which guides are read and to improve them.

The site’s typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers to download them. Google’s own privacy policy applies to that connection.

Like all websites, our web host keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, page requested, time) for security and troubleshooting.

Contact form and comments

If you use the contact form or post a comment under an article, the information you enter (such as your name, email address and message) is sent to the same site-administration service and stored so that we can read and reply to it, or display your comment. We do not sell this information, and we do not add you to any mailing list.

Please do not include sensitive personal information in messages or comments.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete any message or comment you have sent. Use the contact page and tell us roughly when you wrote and which email address you used. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under data protection law, such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation.

Changes

We will update this page if the way the site handles data changes. Last updated: October 2026.
