Disclaimer: Independent Guide, Not Affiliated With Museums

Froissage.com is an independent educational website about the froissage art technique. Please read the following points.

No affiliation

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for the estates of Ladislav Novák, Jiří Kolář, Ladislas Kijno, Simon Hantaï or André-Pierre Arnal, nor with any museum, gallery, foundation or publisher mentioned on the site, including the National Gallery Prague, the Slovak National Gallery, the Ladislav Novák Gallery in Třebíč, the Centre Pompidou, the Fondation Gandur pour l’Art, Tate or MoMA. Names of institutions are used only to cite sources and to tell readers where works can be seen.

Information, not appraisal

Nothing on this site is an authentication, valuation or appraisal of any artwork. If you own a work you believe to be by one of the artists discussed, contact a qualified specialist or the relevant institution.

Accuracy

Art-historical information is drawn from the sources listed on each page. Where sources disagree, we say so. Museum displays and exhibition dates change; check with the institution before visiting.

Activities

Practical guides are for general education. Adults are responsible for supervising children and choosing safe materials. See our terms of use.
